Welcome.

If you're reading this then you've obviously found yourself in Voodoo Tuesday territory. But don't be alarmed - there are no wax dolls and the only spells you'll find yourself under are the good eatin' variety. We love food, we love friends and we love life. Find out more about our mission here, or keep reading to get a taste of what's to come…

We're happy to present to you Volume One, Issue One of VT online. One part magazine, one part online shop, we promise to keep you informed about food, life and celebration in our own simple, irreverent fashion. And, so that you know what you'll be getting yourself into, we're giving you a sneak peak into our virtual world.

Food: What about it? We eat it. We love it. As people who love to cook, we know how much really goes into the preparation of a good meal. As busy professionals, we also know how often we've sacrificed taste for convenience - we just don’t think it always needs to be that way. At Voodoo Tuesday you won't find recipes for towering, feathered desserts or time consuming preparations. You will find all the flavour, colour and global variety that we can bring to you - with tips & other bits of information to help you along & tempt your palate. In this issue we'll introduce you to our first offering - spice blends and rubs - developed especially so that you can quickly and simply get the best out of your food at home.

Life: No silver plating the driveway or lawn-braiding in our living section, and for that matter we won't be growing our own trees to make paper doilies. Our life section will be in honour of life, importantly, we think, as it often feels that we have less and less time out to enjoy it. We hope to bring you feel-good products for your home and body, and maybe some ideas about where to go when you need to get away. It's under development at the moment, but feel free to email us and tell us what you'd like to see us provide you.

Celebrate: Our take on celebrating? Let's do more of it. We'll do our part by keeping you posted on events and celebrations going on around the world. We'll provide a quick profile of a few of them each month - a reminder that out there, somewhere, somebody is taking pause to have a celebration of their own.
